believe it or not, not being an ass gets you further in life.

early in my first semester I met this 2L.  we had a brief chat and never really talked again, but, whenever i’d see her in the hallways i’d say hi.

a few days ago I unknowingly sat next to her in the library.  we had another conversation.  It turns out she had all the same professors I have now, she got A’s in all her classes, and volunteered to share all her outlines and notes with me which she asked me not to share with anyone else.

her notes are amazing.  my life is much easier now, and it’s all because I would say hi to her in the hallways and not pretend like i was too cool.
