May Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday remind us of his struggle, and the struggle of all those who did, and continue to put up with oppression and racism.

13 year old Hamza Ali al-Khateeb.  riddled with bullets, cigarette burns, broken elbows, kneecapped, neck broken and penis hacked off
Hamza was killed by “Syrian Security Forces”.

there is a video online which shows the extent of the brutality.  His father defiantly put the video out in an attempt to display the barbarianism of the Syrian regime.  He is now missing.
I urge you to reblog this.  the world must know what’s going on.

Libya is among the world’s wealthiest nations, with the 9th largest oil reserve, a land mass of nearly 1.8 Million sq km, and a population of only 6.5 Million people.

the people should be living in luxury, but instead there is extreme poverty there.

Muammar Gaddafi has robbed the country dry.  the man in utterly insane.  While his people are living in poverty, he goes and negotiates a deal to buy the Italian soccer team, AC Milan. People have dealt with his insanity for 42 years.

My mother (who is not Libyan) lived in Libya under Gaddafi for 7 years, and the stories she tells me of his insanity are disgusting.

the man runs the country like it’s a game.

I don’t think there is any leader in the world I would want to see get ousted more than this piece of shit.

May God be with the Libyan People.
